The Buddhist metta bhavana practice is a practice of cultivating lovingkindness and compassion at a deep and genuine level, so that you and all those around you can enjoy the flow of kindness and generosity more often. The well-spring of metta lives within each of us. Our work lies more in removing the obstacles to it, rather than conjuring it up.
In this 4-week course designed specifically for the western mind, you’ll learn the depths of the metta bhavana practice, while also learning new ways to move through the most common obstacles to metta, such as judgment, misconceptions about unconditional love, fear of the unknown, and the challenges of forgiveness. By the end of this course, despite the density of these topics, you’ll find yourself feeling lighter, hopeful, empowered to make changes, and more loving and forgiving in general — with both yourself and others.
